Spicy Sweet Potato Satay Broth

Or as I will forever remember it; Satan Broth….

Today was one of those unplanned days. I had no idea what to make for dinner, but thankfully Sorted Food had just uploaded a new recipe, so I thought why not give it a go?

Spicy Squash Satay Broth, but apparently squash is only sold for a very limited amount of time here so I went with sweet potatoes instead (because that you can find, even though nobody ever cooks with it). The recipe is really easy, just onion, garlic, ginger and chili, and cashew butter, honey, soy sauce and vegetable stock for the satay part. The veggie prep takes some time, but it is soo worth it!

I will definitely be doing this again, perfect for a rainy day or when your a little under the weather. It’s packed full of nutrients to help you feel better.

But why would you call it satan broth, you say? Is it because it’s so hot and spicy? No, it has a kick to it, but to claim that it comes from the depths of he’ll is maybe taking it a bit too far. However, autocorrect seems to think so…
